Alligator shears typically feature multiple operating modes-such as manual, automatic (including inching, semi-automatic, and fully automatic)-allowing for selection and switching based on the material characteristics and operational requirements. Operators must be thoroughly familiar with the equipment's structure, performance specifications, and operating procedures; unauthorized operation by individuals lacking this knowledge is strictly prohibited.
Lubrication points must be serviced at least once per shift in accordance with requirements. Only high-quality anti-wear hydraulic oil should be used in the reservoir, and it must undergo rigorous filtration (e.g., through a copper mesh finer than 100 mesh). The oil reservoir requires cleaning and an oil change every six months; the initial oil filtration/cleaning must be performed within 40 hours of operation, and oil that has been used once may be reused only once after undergoing strict filtration.
The oil filter inside the reservoir must be inspected annually to remove foreign matter and be cleaned with gasoline. In the event of significant oil leakage or abnormal operation, the machine must be stopped immediately to diagnose and rectify the issue. Adjustments to pumps, valves, or pressure gauges must be performed by experienced technical personnel.
