Vibration screen is a screening equipment in the waste metal recycling production line, mainly used to classify the crushed scrap steel materials according to particle size, and provide qualified feed for subsequent processes such as magnetic separation and eddy current separation.
Main application links
Primary screening (pre screening): Before the scrap steel enters the crusher, a Grizzly screen or a tilted vibrating screen (with an inclination angle of 15 ° -30 °) is used to remove oversized materials and small impurities, protecting downstream crushing equipment and reducing energy consumption.
Classification and screening after crushing: The mixed scrap steel material after crushing is sieved into three particle size levels through multi-layer vibration screening - coarse particles (>5mm, such as metal shells), medium particles (1-5mm, such as circuit board fragments), and fine particles (<1mm, such as solder and metal powder). Each level of material enters the corresponding sorting process.
High frequency fine screen sorting: High frequency vibrating screen (speed 1500-9000 RPM) is used for precise separation of fine materials below 200 microns. High frequency vibration can prevent screen clogging and achieve effective separation of resin powder and metal particles in electronic waste recycling.
Classification and screening in steel slag recycling: After three-stage screening, the coarse slag (>5mm) is returned to crushing and iron is recovered, the medium slag (1-5mm) is used as a cement admixture, and the fine slag (<1mm) is used as a concrete admixture after removing free calcium oxide, achieving a cascade utilization from iron recycling to building materials.
Tilted vibrating screen: gravity assisted feeding, large processing capacity, low energy consumption, suitable for preliminary screening in scrap metal fields.
