What is the difference between a horizontal pancake maker and a vertical pancake maker? How to choose?
The core difference between the two lies in material adaptability and equipment layout. The horizontal chip cake machine can effectively handle loose waste materials such as rolled silk and shavings through a bidirectional preloading design, solving the problem of low compression efficiency in vertical models; The Metal chip compactor equipment is low in height, easy to maintain, and convenient for horizontal docking with conveyor belts to achieve automation. The vertical chip cake machine is suitable for processing high-density chips and has a high equipment height. Suggestion: For handling loose materials such as rolled silk and shavings, or for integrating automated production lines, choose a horizontal one; If dealing with conventional chips and with ample vertical space, vertical can be chosen.
The material inside the compression chamber of a traditional vertical pancake maker is too loose during one downward movement, with very little substantial material and extremely low compression efficiency. The horizontal chip cake machine uses a feed hydraulic cylinder to perform primary pre pressing and a pre pressing hydraulic cylinder to perform secondary pre pressing. It first squeezes loose waste into tightly structured blocks in both directions, and then the main pressing cylinder presses efficiently, completely avoiding the problem of "extrusion cylinder shortage".
After forming, the density of cast iron chips can reach 5-6 tons/m ³, and the density of steel chip cakes is ≥ 4.5 tons/m ³. High density cake blocks can be directly put into the furnace for use, replacing pig iron or other metals, with a recovery loss of no more than 10% after being put into the furnace.
